BRIEF: Amadio to receive Senior Award.

Sep. 24--The 2007 Summit County Sports Hall of Fame banquet will be held Oct. 2 at Tangier restaurant in Akron.

It is the organization's 51st anniversary banquet. A social hour will be at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tickets, at $30, must be purchased in advance at the Firestone Credit Union, 1200 Firestone Parkway, Akron. Today's featured inductee:
